Create a homeschool experience that works for your child and your family.

Homeschooling can offer flexibility, freedom, and the opportunity to build an education around your child. But when ADHD, executive-function challenges, anxiety, learning differences, or a strong need for autonomy are part of the picture, figuring out how to make homeschooling actually work can feel overwhelming.

You may find yourself asking:

  • How do I create structure without constant battles?

  • How much should I expect from my child?

  • What do I do when they refuse to work?

  • How do I balance flexibility with accountability?

  • Are we focusing on the right things?

  • How do I help my child develop the skills they'll need for life—not just complete assignments?

Homeschool coaching helps you step back, understand what is getting in the way, and create an approach that supports both learning and your relationship with your child.

Through the RISE Method you learn to:

Recognize - Notice your child's strengths, needs, patterns, and individual way of learning.

Identify - Identify what is getting in the way of learning, connection, independence, or follow-through.

Strengthen - Build practical strategies, skills, routines, and supports that fit your child and your family.

Empower - Help your child gradually develop ownership, confidence, problem-solving skills, and independence.

Homeschooling Doesn't Have to Look Like School at Home

Your child doesn't have to learn exactly the way they would in a traditional classroom.

Homeschooling gives you the opportunity to ask a different question:

"What does my child need in order to learn, grow, and become more independent?"

That might mean changing the curriculum. It might mean shorter lessons, more movement, hands-on learning, interest-led projects, real-world experiences, or a different rhythm to the day.

It may also mean recognizing that education is bigger than academics.

The goal isn't to lower expectations. It's to find a path that allows your child to meet meaningful expectations while developing the skills and confidence to take increasing ownership of their life.

Understanding ADHD & Executive Function

Learn how ADHD and executive-function challenges can affect motivation, task initiation, organization, flexibility, and follow-through—and how to adjust your approach accordingly.

Find What Works

There isn't one right way to homeschool. Explore curriculum, learning environments, routines, and approaches that fit your child's strengths, interests, learning needs, and developmental stage.

How We Help

Self-Advocacy

I’ll help you teach your child how to recognize their learning style, understand when they need help, and how to communicate their needs. This will empower them to become more independent and self-confident in their learning journey.

Reduce Power Struggles

Move away from repeated reminders, arguments, and battles over schoolwork. We’ll look beneath the behavior to understand what your child may be communicating and what support they need.

Balancing Academic & Life Skills

Homeschooling creates an opportunity to look beyond completing coursework. We can make room for communication, problem-solving, self-advocacy, organization, practical skills, interests, and preparing for adulthood.

Sensory-Friendly Learning Space

If your child is sensitive to sensory overload, I can guide you in setting up a learning space that minimizes distractions and is comfortable for them. We can discuss strategies to reduce sensory stress and help your child focus.

Build Independence

Shift gradually from parent-managed learning toward greater ownership. We’ll identify the skills your child needs and create opportunities to practice them in everyday life.

Navigate Resistance & Motivation

When your child says "no," refuses an assignment, or seems completely uninterested in school, we’ll explore what may be underneath the resistance and identify ways to move forward without turning every interaction into a battle.

Support the Whole Family

Homeschooling affects everyone in the household. Coaching provides a space for parents to work through expectations, frustration, uncertainty, and the inevitable ups and downs of the homeschool journey.

Parent Coaching & Family Support

You don't have to figure it all out on your own.

Homeschool coaching can be parent-focused, child-focused, or a combination of both. Depending on your family's needs, we may work together to create a plan, troubleshoot challenges, develop strategies, or help your child build the skills needed to become a more independent learner.

You know your child. Coaching helps you step back, see the bigger picture, and find a way forward.
