College Student Coaching

ADHD coaching for college students to improve focus, time management, and academic success

Navigating College Life with Confidence and Focus

College can be an exciting yet challenging experience, especially for students with ADHD. Between managing coursework, social life, extracurriculars, and the independence that comes with college, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Our ADHD coaching services are designed to help college students build the skills they need to stay organized, focused, and successful throughout their academic journey.

ADHD coaching for college students is all about building strategies that help you manage your time, balance your responsibilities, and maximize your potential. Whether you’re struggling to meet deadlines, stay motivated, or cope with the pressures of college life, we are here to help you find solutions that work specifically for you.

Through the RISE Method, students learn to:

RECOGNIZE- Understand yourself and your ADHD.

We start by noticing patterns, strengths, challenges, and situations where ADHD tends to show up. Understanding yourself is the first step toward making meaningful change.

IDENTIFY- Figure out what's actually getting in the way of success.

Is the challenge time management? Task initiation? Working memory? Motivation? Overwhelm? Perfectionism? Avoidance? We identify the specific barriers instead of simply saying, "I need to try harder."

STRENGTHEN - Develop practical skills and strategies for planning, organization, time, focus, motivation, emotional regulation, and follow-through.

Together, we experiment with tools and systems for organization, planning, studying, communication, routines, and follow-through. The goal isn't to find the "perfect" system. It's to find strategies that work for you.

EMPOWER- Take ownership of your next steps.

TCoaching helps you become more confident in making decisions, solving problems, advocating for yourself, and adjusting when a strategy isn't working.

How We Help

Get Organized

Create simple systems for managing assignments, deadlines, emails, appointments, and everyday responsibilities—without relying on a complicated planner you won't use.

Get Started & Follow Through

Turn overwhelming tasks into manageable next steps. Learn how to work with challenges around task initiation, procrastination, distractions, and maintaining momentum.

Time Management

Develop a more realistic understanding of how you experience and use time. We’ll work on estimating how long things take, planning ahead, creating routines, and using tools that help you stay on track without feeling constantly rushed or behind.

Mindset

Build awareness of the thoughts and beliefs that influence how you approach challenges. We’ll work on shifting from self-criticism and “I should be able to do this” thinking toward self-understanding, flexibility, and a more constructive view of setbacks—while building confidence in your ability to figure things out.

Build Confidence & Independence

Move from having someone else manage things for you toward managing more of your own life. Build confidence by practicing decision-making, problem-solving, and taking ownership of your next steps.

Balance School & Life

Find a healthier balance between academics, work, relationships, recreation, sleep, and the things that help you recharge—without feeling like everything has to be perfectly balanced.

Self-Advocacy

Learn how to communicate your needs, ask for help, talk with professors or supervisors, and take an active role in creating the support you need.

Build Effective Study Strategies

Discover ways to approach studying, reading, note-taking, test preparation, and completing assignments that work with your learning style and ADHD.

Prioritization

When everything feels important, knowing where to start can be difficult. We’ll work on identifying what needs attention first, breaking down competing demands, and making decisions about where to focus your energy—so you can move forward with greater clarity and less overwhelm.

Navigate Challenges

College and young adulthood don't always go according to plan. Develop problem-solving skills and learn how to respond when you fall behind, encounter a difficult class, or need to change course.

Prepare for What’s Next

Whether you're figuring out your major, entering the workforce, transferring schools, or simply trying to determine what comes next, coaching can help you identify your strengths, clarify your goals, and take action.
